Whatever, I'm just looking forward to the MAGA meltdown after his final Big Mac Attack, when all the rats and cockroaches will be clawing, backstabbing, and throwing each other under the bus to snag their piece of the power vacuum.

The fall of Alexander the Great's empire.

[–] badgermurphy@lemmy.world 2 points 2 hours ago

Except he was great.

"Put the president on experimental drugs" is completely bonkers. Never would have been contemplated in other administrations in my lifetime. Obviously, the simplest explanation is that the patient is someone else.

But it's so much fun to speculate: Maybe someone in the king's court is hoping to fill him up with so many drugs that he collapses.

I mean.... There was jfk. He was on a lot of strange stuff by Dr Morell (?) , who he called "Dr Feel good"

That said, Trump is nothing like jfk tho. Jfk was a deeply serious guy all things considered and despite his vices. Trump is nothing but an impulsive child.

The obvious is not necessarily a good yardstick for the Trump administration. After all he had that miraculous Covid treatment that was promised to all but evaporated.

[–] manxu@piefed.social 14 points 13 hours ago

I am not sure that rapid weight loss is the healthiest possible thing for someone of Trump's stats.

But then again, if it works the drug maker gets a big reward, and if it fails then there is nobody there to punish them.

Fat fuck can't even get skinny on Ozempic?

I think it makes sense, he's never eaten because he feels hungry, he eats because he's a greedy little piggy that is never satisfied.

So Ozempic doesn't work, because it just blocks hunger signals.

He's still grazing from a table full of hours old McDonald's because that's how he's lived for decades.

Like, trying to lose weight when you've normalized those eating habits is a futile effort. Even when he just gets a bespoke meal, he doubles up on sandwiches and washes it down with milkshakes.

Thats a normal fucking meal for him, two McDonald's sandwiches, large fries, large milkshake.

Multiple times a day, everyday.

No one eats that because they're hungry, so Ozempic isn't going to do anything. And neither will this new untested drug little Bobby Kennedy said was safe.

And of course it's a "peptide" that people are getting without a prescription because of TikTok videos....

He's also known to abuse Adderall going back to the apprentice.

That's a feat that you can eat on ozempic and Adderall.

He's 80...

The brain is basically on autopilot, and just falls back on habits. For him that means shoveling high calorie trash food down his throat.

Don't forget one of his favorite "power moves" at diners he hosted was to serve ice cream as dessert. Just so he could give everyone one scoop but get two scoops himself.

It's not just food for him, it's like that Always Sunny episode where they hyperfocus on who eats first. He's a very stupid person and for his generation eating a lot is a sign of masculinity, so he's going to force fed himself and then shit himself.

He's been in a spiral for a while, I fully expect JD to swoop in after January, if he acts earlier than he's limited to one term.

I think trump will be the fall guy starting after midterms and then a hard push in about 6 months. He'll stop being valuable as a scape goat in office, and Republican voters are dumb enough to see a mild improvement under JD and blame not getting the shitty parts on Dem.

People keep saying they can't see a Republican future without trump but it's blatantly obvious what they should do.

mhhhh, I wonder if there is a hormone that is to being a greedy POS as ghrelin is to hunger? We should start cutting into billionaires until we find it.

[–] 0x0@infosec.pub 1 points 40 minutes ago

There is, its called gremlin

[–] coolmojo@lemmy.world 18 points 16 hours ago (1 children)

You are giving way too much fucks despite your username IMHO.

[–] givesomefucks@lemmy.world 21 points 15 hours ago (3 children)

Everyone has a daily allotment of fucks to give however they choose.

It's a resource like any other, and understanding that is the key to fighting the gish gallop method trump prefers.

Taking a few seconds to go off on how fat he is even with Ozempic is worthwhile, because trump fucking hates people talking about it. And since zero people can hold him accountable till at least midterms, there's no reason not to piss him off now. Because he can only focus on 2-3 things at a time max.

People talking about how he's a pathetic sack of fat is one of the few things that he actually gives a fuck about. So talk about it and stress him out.

Same with the reflecting pool, if he wasn't focused on that, he'd be doing some truly awful shit.

So keep him focused on shit that doesn't matter.

Just throw "tan suit and grey poupon" level shit at him all day so he spends all his time and energy responding to that stuff.

[–] 1995ToyotaCorolla@lemmy.world 3 points 10 hours ago

Sounds like a reversal of flooding the zone... I like it

I've no more fucks to give.

My fuck fuse has just blown.

I've looked around for my fucks all day but they've up and fucked off home.

I've no more fucks to give.

My fuck rations are depleted.

I've rallied my fuck army, but it's been fucking defeated.

[–] MagicShel@lemmy.zip 4 points 14 hours ago

Frankly, I wish the conversation would focus on the Epstein files. Obviously they don't exist in a vacuum, this administration does too many awful things on a daily basis to never examine them, but if there is one thing we could do to induce cardiac stress, it would be to hammer him with being a pedophile. Every. Single. Day.

The reflecting pool is emblematic of his failures. As is the Iran war. These are all things he can and does blame on others and attack them for. Being a disgusting child abuser is the one thing he fucking owns. I wish he wouldn't experience a single day for the rest of his life without someone questioning that to his face.

[–] SpruceBringsteen@lemmy.world 1 points 14 hours ago

Probably like watching Stavros on tour. Guy'd binge eat on 'em and then wonder why he felt nauseous.

[–] quarkquasar@lemmy.world 20 points 15 hours ago (3 children)

A big pharma company and the words "compassionate use" should be all you need to know they're up to no good.

[–] EncryptKeeper@lemmy.world 16 points 14 hours ago

I mean the compassionate use thing on its own is not necessarily a bad thing. It’s a way to provide patients who are terminally ill with no other options the chance to try a drug that hasn’t been approved.

This use case in the other hand is bizarre and abnormal

[–] NotBillMurray@lemmy.world 8 points 13 hours ago (1 children)

I would argue that in a lot of cases compassionate use policies are a good thing. I have a distant relative who was part of the study of the use of lung surfactant for premature infants. It was so effective that they cut the testing short to roll it out nation wide and has saved thousands and thousands of lives.

I'm not saying I trust pharmaceutical companies to not be bastards the vast majority of the time, but sometimes they do the right thing.

[–] Evil_Incarnate@sopuli.xyz 4 points 7 hours ago

Only when the "right thing" and the "profitable thing" are the same.

[–] vrek@programming.dev 3 points 14 hours ago (1 children)

In this case... What is good? Keep him alive at the cost of millions of lives? Make sure he's on placebo and dies?

[–] Feathercrown@lemmy.world 2 points 7 hours ago (1 children)

Wow what a difficult choice

[–] vrek@programming.dev 2 points 5 hours ago

So what would you choose? Proper scientific study? Make results illegimate due to political differences?

I'm making fun but it's actually an interesting philosophy idea to think about.

[–] technocrit@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 14 hours ago* (last edited 14 hours ago)

Is that why the pedoprez's ass is always exploding on camera? Side effect?
