I remember a staff training session, the trainer said "some people see the problem coming" and pointed off in the distance. Then she held her fist to her forehead and said "some people, 'guys we have a problem'."

Some people have complete inability to entertain the hypothetical. Ted Talk https://youtu.be/9vpqilhW9uI

it's like smoking, told by experts not to because highly likely will die from some horrific disease in the not distant future, as well as kill others with 2nd and 3rd hand smoke.

We're killing off species so fast it's a sixth mass extinction

Looking at it this way, climate change is the solution, we'll die in our own putrid mess, alas the ones not causing this will suffer the most bit we've so structured the world, the poor always do.

there are no solutions here because doing so would mean a complete change to the entire social, political and economic systems we live under and that's not acceptable to we contented 20%. We're already seeing the rise of more fascism and the repose is inevitably more violence and division.

me being a mr. poo poo head ? au contraire

DANIEL KAHNEMAN is not hopeful. “I am very sorry,” he told me, “but I am deeply pessimistic. I really see no path to success on climate change.”
