Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). 3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. 4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

You're reposting month old speculative nonsense adding nothing to what was already a nothing - can't hear what is being said.

You are, knowingly or not, regurgitating propaganda. Dip.

[–] yonderbarn@lazysoci.al 1 points 3 hours ago

Was it a repost? I did do a search beforehand but didn't find anything. Apparently many people were unaware that it happened.

Clear the wax out of your ears if you're having trouble hearing.

You are, knowingly or not, denying the truth. Dip.

Just gonna keep recycling the same stories here.

Her last year has essentially been just throwing darts at a board and riding her time out. Allowing Altman to even enter this state pretty much sums up her current level of give a s***.

Ladies and gentlemen, the rot in the Democrat party.

[–] anomnom@sh.itjust.works 1 points 7 hours ago

Still better than the shit filled cancer that is the average Republican lawmaker.

[–] UnderpantsWeevil@lemmy.world 17 points 1 day ago (3 children)

Harder and harder to say "Vote Blue No Matter Who" with that boot up your throat.

[–] Zexks@lemmy.world 2 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

[–] UnderpantsWeevil@lemmy.world 1 points 8 hours ago

The other side tried to violently overthrow an election, is engaging in record fraud and government abuse, is led by a rapist who's hiding the Epstein files, wants to overturn all civil rights achievements and destroy all workers rights, they illegally toppled a foreign government and are now stealing billions from Venezuela's oil sales, and they are currently trying to rig US elections.

They tried to overturn birthright citizenship, want to undo marriage equality, have sent armed thugs to harass democrat cities, they've called anti fascists and Democratic socialists dangerous violent leftists, and their dumbass tariffs and Iran war have essentially caused a voluntary global recession while oil and defense make record profits.

I take your point but one side is still astronomically worse

[–] PowerCrazy@lemmy.ml 9 points 19 hours ago* (last edited 19 hours ago)

The "otherside" is literally enabling everything you are saying here. You are being played, there aren't two sides, there are zero for you.

[–] UnderpantsWeevil@lemmy.world 24 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

The other side tried

And the first side just sat around with thumbs up assholes, because they hate Palestinians and Transgender folks more than fascists.

one side is still astronomically worse

John Fetterman has far more in common with Ted Cruz than nearly anyone who voted for either of them.

There's two sides, alright. But these people aren't on yours.

"RIGHT-CENTER" (Dogshit) "LOW CREDIBILITY"

Don't trust this to be anything more than AI.

Why the fuck are you posting this garbage, yonderbarn? You're not a nazi, are you?

Edit: Not even Snopes could verify it.

Your friendly reminder that there are nazis, russians, chinese, and israeli bots on here trying to stop people from voting Democrat in November. Please be mindful of these fools purporting falsely equivalent nonsense. Yes, Democrats have issues and I'm not even the biggest fan of Whitmer. But she and almost every Democrat would be orders of magnitude better than what is in office right now, or any Republican for that matter. And every single good politician from Sanders to Mamdani to AOC and so on just so happens to caucus or outright BE a Democrat.

Edit 2: Now @yonderbarn@lazysoci.al is commenting on my 10-month-old comments and posts, haha, wtf?

[–] Cris_Citrus@piefed.zip 4 points 1 day ago (10 children)

Do we seriously have to insinuate that people are Nazis every half a second? Could we just like, instead, not do that? Here on the threadiverse?

The point you're trying to make is frankly weaker for it.

If you read that whole page you linked to you would see they haven't produced fake news so much as they consistently misrepresent facts to suit a conservative narrative.

So arguing it could be AI means you failed to actually read their fucking reasoning for the low credibility and bias claims. None of it had to do with facts not being true, but rather presenting those true facts within a conservative narrative. Whitmer is mentioned several times, and in each case it was rooted in real facts but presented with a conservative slant.

Screaming "fake news" is unhelpful.

Screaming “fake news” is unhelpful.

Vetting sources absolutely is helpful.

Democrats are trash and the BlueMAGA that keep defending them are holding everyone back

[–] Bakkoda@lemmy.world 14 points 1 day ago

Immediate recall. Anything else is allowing it to happen.

[–] SnotFlickerman@lemmy.blahaj.zone 12 points 1 day ago (1 children)

The quote is near the end of the audio clip and is easier to hear than the first half of the clip. We need some audio engineers isolating her voice

[–] Carl@anarchist.nexus 8 points 1 day ago

Isolating vocals on a messy track would actually be closer to audio forensics, which is a pretty specific branch of the audio world. There are lots of specialized tricks that audio forensics experts can use, which would fly in the face of a lot of what traditional audio engineers would consider best practice. Because an audio forensics expert isn’t thinking about best practice for a mixed and mastered track, which is the mindset that most audio engineers would approach the problem from.

That literally describes any government ever. People will always say fuck no, just not all the people all the time. Some people all the time though because they hate the government no matter what.
