They have been hit with a slump because Vegas is too expensive for the average person now.

Everything is a fee, costs have soared.

They used to entice huge crowds with free buffets, free drinks, cheap entertainment, so you'd come and gamble and spend. Now they decided to focus on high rollers.

Don't worry, it is unlikely the US will pull out of this tailspan of shutting itself out from the rest of the world (in every way but military intervention ughh), and as a result Las Vegas is a dead city walking especially with the climate of the area functioning as a fast approaching cliff face for humans who want to keep living there despite nature giving every sign possible to them to get the hell out.

I am going to enjoy watching Las Vegas decay, shrivel up and die.
