Why does every headline about things Mamdani is doing make me cackle with glee?
Every single one pisses off the old guard.
It's pretty much Trump's Drain the swamp idea, except he was the swamp.
People miss-understood Trump when he said he would drain the swamp. It's like draining any other pool or body of water. Once the water is removed all that's left is scum and debris. That's very accurate to current DC leadership roles.
I love reading those losers' panicked posts about how terrible this is. I started to engage with one guy who had said that Mamdani has already broken ALL of his promises, and hasn't come through with one single thing, and I had to just let him go. He was too stupid to argue with.
Clearly, Mamdani is doing a great job, and New Yorkers LOVE him. No wonder the Corpo-Establishment HATES him.
I can't WAIT to VOTE this man OUT so the Unelected BILLIONAIRES can Make Laws INSTEAD of the People I VOTE for!

I heard an interview with Bruce Blakeman this morning where he argued that New York shouldn't be fighting Kashi because Kashi provides jobs.

I honestly don't know how. I think there are some apartments that were bought a long time ago and passed down to people so their housing costs can still be incredibly low, but current rents and people looking to buy, it's a shit show. Also, just cost of everything is crazy. It's a love/hate relationship for me. I met my wife who's lived here most of her life, wouldn't be here.

A "SIGN?" Yeah, that's pretty much the whole point of firing somebody. You're telling them as directly as you possibly can that their input is no longer required, or wanted.
