I got heavily downvoted on my post on c/unpopularopinion about Lemmy's absolute disdain of AI and not acknowledging its potential so it really is unpopular.
OpenAi spends 6 billion on marketing. Half of its revenue.
I have never seen a traditional OpenAi ad. But I do see a lot of pseudo viral and bot marketing of it.

Kids suck. I don't like them. Glad if you do, please enjoy. But they slobber, shed, smell and are generally mostly a nuisance. They can be fun for brief periods, but they're way more work and hassle than they're worth. My brother is thinking of getting a kid and I hope he doesn't because it would make me reluctant to spend a weekend at his place. I can't believe the number of people who seriously admit to loving their kids more than their dogs. I can't believe people consider themselves their kid's "parent". I can't believe how forcefully the online community backlashes to the idea of dogs or judgemental of "ill-mannered" and neurodiverse dogs, yet will happily say "it is never a kid's" fault, no matter how "bad" the kid is.

I generally like kids, but that's because I don't have any of my own and as a school bus driver I only have to deal with them in 15-minute doses.
I think kids are fine tbh. I wouldn't want to live with one though.
We live in a society of tiny attention spans and instant gratification, kids are a multi decade commitment of time money and effort. In this environment, Im not surprised kids are seen as a burden.
I do find it interesting how some people (like you) can be repulsed by kids, while others (like me) don't mind them at all. I despise large gatherings of people and loud places, but groups of kids are completely fine to me somehow. Human brains are weird.

I kinda hated kids till I had a few, now I like them. The majority of the kids Ive met (school friends of my kids) are some of the nicest, kindest people Ive ever known. People tend to get worse as they age, more jaded, cynical, mean, etc, so if you want to see human potential in its purest form, kids are your best bet.
It's more a play on the other comment in this thread about dogs. I do, personally, prefer dogs to kids, however I wanted to only s/dog/kid/g for the purpose of the joke.

The EU is a trap. Once Russia and China are destroyed, the western Elite will also treat the average citizens like they treat Africans and third world Asians. The elite is only good to people they need and once they control everything they need nobody to fight for them.
Privilaged people should be sent to a third world country for a year or two so they'll realize what birthplace lottery is, how good their life is. Ofc I'm talking about the people who think they aren't privilaged but in reality they are.
I don't think this'll necessarily help. Lots of missionaries do this, for instance, and they tend to either develop a colonial outlook or shoo away the idea of randomness under a cosmic design.
Many of these places also have compradors and local bourgeoisies that need to collaborate with the international bourgeoisie at some point; those people don't exactly experience a Hallmark Christmas Tree Farm change of character either.
Unfortunately class position and clas ideology can supersede morality. However, because I disagree with your opinion I did give it an upvote 😌
Anime is 95% shit and is only popular because it's from Japan.
To be honest i like anime because how comfortable it is with being shit and outrageous and i love to hate watch stuff like kingdoms of ruin simply to marvel at how bad it can get. Also i feel stuff like Baki loops back into being so bad it's good. I can't get over the fact that the last season finale was a feud with his martial art master dad about being served imaginary dinner that escalated to Baki being used as a human nunchuck in a public brawl.
No western writer would commit to that kind of madness.
