I might be out of the loop here, but how is it that he, a felon, can vote?
Or is it just like the other constitutional laws they don’t get too bogged down by?

I might be out of the loop here, but how is it that he, a felon, can vote?
Or is it just like the other constitutional laws they don’t get too bogged down by?
Florida law defers to the rules of the state they felony is in.
New York law is that felons can vote if they aren't in jail.
Felons can, and ethically should be able to, vote a lot of the time. Restricting voting rights is never a good idea. Supposedly Florida has a cool off period I cant be bothered to check, but i dont see an issue with this past extremely laughable hypocrisy
That said, i think his vote probably just says "I vote me, lol"
It's OK I speak maga: he is at war with the sexually deranged woke left, and people serving in the military can vote by mail.
Don't hate me I just speak the language.
Nothing new about this. The hypocrite has been voting by mail since before his FIRST term.
wow. Donald Trump, a hypocrite?

Are we supposed to be surprised? At this point we know he would trade his kids for McDonald’s, if he had to.
Not McDonald's the corporation, not even a single franchise.
He'd trade them for a Big Mac and medium fries.
Does anyone at the guardian genuinely believe that pointing out conservative hypocrisies does literally anything?
It's a Sisyphian task, but it needs to be on the record so it can't be denied.
Unlike the Third Reich, the Trump Administration doesn't keep accurate records of their atrocities, so someone else has to. It didn't stop Hitler and it won't stop Trump, but the truth preserved prevents Holocaust deniers from convincing society at large, and we're going to need to remember the details when we're giving real teeth to the Constitutional limits on Presidential power, restructuring the checks and balances, and setting term limits on the Supremes.
Trump being a hypocrite? Who would've guessed?

And cats are better than dogs
you will not besmirch the name of the goodest boys in this corner of the internet, chucklenuts
I am willing to accept they are both better than people, however. Surely we can agree on that.
100%, I love dogs but I love cats more
Yeah, fair enough.
a lot of words justifying my choice of pets
different strokes for different folks, my hand has been forced by an allergy to cats, and frankly, while I'm sure they're very sweet, I do not want to be the single, gay man with an animate ballsack for a cat (Yeah I know there are other hypoallergenic options but they were expensive last I checked and I'm poor -- and, so were sphinxes, but I might be misremembering that part). I still pet every cat I get the chance to, regardless of how miserable it makes me because of said allergy, but oh man I could not exist in a house that had them.
I also appreciate dogs inability to lie, more, too; it has been my experience that a cat can plot. Dogs have little capacity for thought-out planning, good or bad, and their tail usually gives it away; but a cat gets ideas and a cat that is plotting to shit in your shoes later, and a cat that is more or less indifferent to your existence, or a cat that merely doesn't want to engage with visitors, all look incredibly similar. Much like people, they can be duplicitous and incredibly good at it if they choose to be.
Now, you might appreciate that emotional complexity (and I admit, it does make dogs sound basic by comparison), but I do not. If a dog doesn't like you, you will know almost immediately, almost 100% of the time. They are the worst liars of the domesticated animal kingdom, from being ashamed or not about who pissed on the carpet to whether or not they want you petting them or like the way that you currently are, or if they just get an awful vibe from someone -- I can read them like a book, as someone with mild autism it's fantastic. People? People can fuck themselves. (present company excluded, I suppose, we are in one of the moderately less awful corners of the internet, and I'm guessing the ratio of neurotypicals to not here is somewhat skewed)
I've been around cats (my allergy only developed after a few years around them), and I know from experience they are... wired differently. They're better liars than dogs are, at least, when they want to be. I've met a few cats that obviously liked me, and a couple cats despise me, and just one that I know plotted. Whereas pretty much every dog I've ever met has at least tolerated me if not outright wanted to be my best friend.
I feel like I am crazy. Did he not already get called on doing this before and then just said: "I need to because I'm President."
Yeah he has voted through mail multiple times. Man's a hypocrite.
It would be a great photo-op for Trump to go vote in person. But he would have to be capable of walking from the car to the polling place. Or his ankles would have to be in the tightest compression socks so that they aren't swollen and concerning-looking. Lazy/easier to just stay home and tweet AI slop on his social media site.
So we should expect a strongly worded letter from the Dems in response? Right? Right?
Mmmm, best I can do is saying they wont bring Medicare for all up if they get majorities.
