ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV/Gray News) - A warrant has been issued for Dr. Jill Stein after she failed to appear in court for a 2024 assault charge.

The charges stem from a Washington University campus protest on April 27, 2024.

Documents state that Officer Conroy approached on a bicycle, which Stein grabbed, leading to Officer Moore attempting to help. The bicycle hit Moore in the forearm, and while the bicycle was raised, Stein allegedly kicked Moore multiple times in the right leg near the groin. Moore was later diagnosed with a strain in his left forearm, a contusion in the back of his right leg and a groin injury.

St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Melissa Price Smith stated the following after the charges were initially filed in 2025: “I want to make it clear that these misdemeanor criminal charges are not a statement about the freedoms of speech or assembly, which we honor and uphold as part of our Constitution. They are not a statement about the subject of the protest, which was the situation in Gaza. These charges merely reflect our professional judgment that we have the evidence to prove these particular criminal charges beyond a reasonable doubt.”

Soooo... a 74 year old activist/politician kicks the bejesus out of 2 police officers, with a bicycle? And she grabbed that specific bicycle from under the first officer approaching? What’s next, Bernie Sanders hand-carrying and emptying a classic Oerlikon GAI-BO1 on an approaching horde of infested zombies?

The night is young.

As much as I don't like her... ACAB

She's that generation of old anti nuke tankie leftists. She caters too much to the anti vax anti science crowd. She's not evil, but I'm super tired of her existing with such a high profile and not making any material changes happen in the world. She completely gave up on being an elected official in Massachusetts, and if she cant win there, what is she doing? She's not moving any balls forward, its just a proto-influencer on an endless press tour.

edit: but yeah, this is just a trumped up charge for press, and im pretty sure she's pumped for the coverage

Trump may not have won without her in 2016. I’m not sure why the fascists are punishing her. She was at the famous Putin dinner!

She's a woman. They always throw the women under the bus first.

Trump finally going to deliver on the "Lock Her Up" 2016 campaign pledge. Our long national nightmare is over.

Good, actions have consequences. My 3 year old learned it just now... Maybe she should too.

If only that applied to other public officials equally...

Agree. I'd put like 99% of them in jail, cancel PACs and corporate personhood and start fresh.
