Is it really gender ideology to say mind your own fucking business and let people be happy?
Gender ideology is giving people care and community. To be a gender ideologue is to be human.
I just don’t understand why they care. It’s such a non-issue. We got people starving homeless people in the richest nation of the world and they’re worried about gender?! Why not focus on making the lives of your constituents better instead of focusing on something that in no way has any effect on your life whatsoever? It will never make sense to me.
It's easy. It's all because it's disgusting to them. In their worldview bad things happen to bad people, so if you're poor or homeless, you're a bad person. And that's revolting, so poor people suffering is good actually.
Women are also disgusting. They need to remain at their station. That's why they hate LGBTQ+ people, we don't conform to their ideas.
Lesbians and trans-men are disgusting because they were lesser and claim to be more. Trans-women and gay dudes are the reverse of that; we're debasing ourselves by being lesser.
It's all about social hierarchy and domination, people needing to remain in their spot, happy with their lot.
Religion and the mindset it fosters is evil, because it causes even regular, caring people to do and excuse the most heinous things, thinking that it's good.
Mother Teresa is a great example, a literal saint, yet a horrible woman who deliberately made people suffer because she believed that suffering to be holy. To be Good.
I guess that does explain it a bit.
To keep their stupid tricked base in a constant low level state of outrage is the only answer that makes sense.
Its impressive on a few fronts. Suggesting he's an ally to the lqbtqia+ community while dirting health care for a vulnerable population of that group. Managing to infantilize women while proposing a completely imagined threat.

Probably not, but maybe. People are disenfranchised with the GOP, but brainwashed to the hilt with rage about trans issues. I suspect this guy wants to be palatable to that group of voters.
