We got so much time off in November due to teacher student conferences, teacher days, and other fuckery we usually did go on vacation in fall.
One year we went to Disney and the boat guy asked where we were from and over half the boat said NJ, he asked if we were a group and we all laughed and said no. Cause we weren't. We just all decided vacation instead of teacher learning days.
I agree 100%, but I think it mostly has to do with more natural light during the day.
I like summer and if that racist shithead Michael Richards disagrees I'm doubling down.

It's a cool 64° where I'm at, I love the summer.
No. Autumn winds suck, they crack my lips. Winter is miserable. Spring is sneezy. Summer is hot, so what? Best season for surfing. And I'm Australian, our summer is dangerous, but still my favourite season.
We need to fix this
no, even the hottest summers are many times better than winters where I live; weather below 10°C is just not suited for sustaining human life and makes me want to go indoors immediately, no comparison to hot weather

I do prefer summer. Our summers are not that hot though. It's like 80 degrees every day, from 40 to 60's at night. Last August it got down in the 30's at night or so for a couple of weeks. 33 degrees one morning.
Winter is what sucks, especially the last one, hardest winter since the 90s we have gone soft here.

listen here, canadian, you may like it when your extremities hurt from how fucking cold it is, and love sweating because you have to wear layers to not freeze, but your nose is still cold, but some of us actually like feeling like we’re warm enough and being ok with things being bright, visible, welcoming and comfortable.
Too hot? just stay indoors between 11 to 3 and you’ll be fine.
EDIT: Unlike those random ass non summer months when it can rain or be shittier than usual at random, we know when it’s too fucking hot or so sunny it will burn you; it’s the same fucking time every day.
Lose some weight and get into outdoor hobbies. Summer is awesome, hiking, biking, paddling, going to the beach, summer is great if you like to actually do things outside.
You can do most of that year round
Sorry, but 100°F and 80%+ humidity would actually kill me.
I much prefer fall/spring before it gets insanely hot or cold
