He just needs to compromise on his privacy.

[–] Bluedragon012@lemmy.world 3 points 9 minutes ago

Good. Very good. I hope he feels true fear. I hope he gets what is deserved.

[–] ContactClosure@lemmus.org 1 points 2 minutes ago

Let's start a car tracker log for him like that one person did for elons planes.

This is public information see https://ecorp.sos.ga.gov/BusinessSearch/BusinessInformation
Search for flock group and you will get the address.

[–] ivanafterall@lemmy.world 6 points 59 minutes ago

Only a couple hours from me. Isn't this a business/office address though?

[–] Whostosay@sh.itjust.works 78 points 4 hours ago* (last edited 4 hours ago) (1 children)

concerns over privacy and potential police misuse.

Couldn't even go one sentence without propaganda. It's very well documented that it is ACTIVELY being misused. Concerns is their "allegedly" to escape libel allegations, this was a choice.

I'll say this as many times as it takes. NEWSWEEK ISNT FUCKING NEWS. IT IS A TABLOID. IT IS LESS THAN NOTHING. STOP FUCKING POSTING IT AND GIVING THESE GHOULS MONEY.

Thinking we need a shareable list of good alternatives we can share to other people.

Anyone got some good independent news sources we can share and use?

[–] velma@sh.itjust.works 7 points 3 hours ago

There’s a community focused on independent journalism that might interest y’all !Independent_Media@lemmy.today

Are they calling for a mustached Italian plumber?

[–] lechekaflan@lemmy.world 9 points 4 hours ago

Never stop the smash.

[–] notannpc@lemmy.world 200 points 7 hours ago (2 children)

He should just point a flock camera at his house. Then he’ll be 80% safer based on a study I just made up like the ones on their sales pitch.

[–] kryptonianCodeMonkey@lemmy.world 4 points 29 minutes ago

Would be a shame if someone created a network of cameras tracking hia every move and posted it online for free in real time. Nothing illegal about that, right? No implicit threat in that, right?

[–] NaibofTabr@infosec.pub 66 points 7 hours ago* (last edited 7 hours ago) (14 children)

Even better, a group should cut down several dozen of them and mount them all on poles outside his house during the night, so that he wakes up to them in the morning. No vandalism, no violence, no threats, just a blunt statement that the media couldn't possibly ignore.

Heck, no need to even risk collecting that many real ones. I hear there's some fairly decent 3D printed fakes available.

[–] Cherry@piefed.social 2 points 23 minutes ago

heads on spikes you say? i hope those models don't look like billionaires...just kidding

[–] dangling_cat@piefed.blahaj.zone 5 points 1 hour ago (1 children)

You are onto something. What if we just 3d print a bunch of fake cameras, wear a reflective vest, and install them in your nearby rich neighborhoods?

[–] BionicBeaver3000@lemmy.world 1 points 27 minutes ago

"Little brother is watching you!"

[–] Steve@startrek.website 6 points 3 hours ago

I love this. They are solar powered so everything would work. All you need is a post hole digger to build a little flock forest.

[–] CosmoNova@lemmy.world 10 points 4 hours ago* (last edited 4 hours ago) (1 children)

I betcha if they set them up in his rich people neighborhood they wouldn‘t last for 2 days because someone with more money than him made a phone call.

[–] Whostosay@sh.itjust.works 9 points 4 hours ago

He would be making that call. This rat roach fuck knows exactly what he is doing, do not give him an out.

[–] FartMaster69@lemmy.dbzer0.com 28 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

But what if we had a little violence and vandalism as a treat?

[–] NaibofTabr@infosec.pub 4 points 5 hours ago* (last edited 5 hours ago) (1 children)

Then you provide the enemy with ammunition.

They claim that the purpose of the cameras is to prevent crime, and that the people who oppose them are violent extremists. They've even tried to label deflock.me as a terrorist organization.

Don't provide the enemy with ammunition.

[–] shartgargle@lemmy.zip 28 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

To be realistic, they don't need ammunition. They just make it up anyways. It's not about being civil and cordial anymore. Points have to be made.

"Not giving them ammunition" means getting ignored. We can't afford to be ignored anymore. Shit is urgent. The Epstein class needs to be afraid or we wait until they build the technology and infrastructure that allows them to completely ignore our needs/demands forever.

Especially when the right is also mad about the tech. Strike while the iron is hot. Now is the time to act, not just have discussions. And I don't mean violence, but let them know that card is on the table otherwise we the people will continue being ignored.

[–] Whostosay@sh.itjust.works 19 points 4 hours ago* (last edited 4 hours ago)

Always bothers me when people act like there is zero political violence. They are shooting us in the fucking street on film. Shits over.

Also your username is fuckin wild lol

It's okay, he has nothing to hide, right?

[–] Almacca@aussie.zone 28 points 6 hours ago

You live by the sword, you die by the sword, dickhead.

[–] BooBees@fedinsfw.app 60 points 7 hours ago (3 children)

“Backers of the technology say it helps solve crimes”

Should be easy to list the crimes it’s solved, where’s that list?

[–] turtlesareneat@piefed.ca 4 points 33 minutes ago (1 children)

Back up to even having that be a point. We could solve a lot of crimes if everyone's phone reported our location and recorded our voices for the police. We could solve a lot of crimes if the cops put cams in everyone's house. Why don't we do this? The constitution. I don't care of Flock solves 100k crimes a year, it's unconstitutional so it's not an option.

"critics of the technology say it violates their right to privacy"

Fuckin fixed that real quick. Am I a journalist yet

[–] tankfox@bookwyr.me 20 points 7 hours ago

shh, those are super secret political crimes

[–] Dryad@lemmy.world 3 points 4 hours ago

Just for safety.

[–] MonkderVierte@lemmy.zip 8 points 5 hours ago (2 children)

What was the name of the competitor with the more hidden cameras again?

[–] Hello_there@fedia.io 19 points 7 hours ago

Postcards have lower postage rates than regular letters.
Also harder to ignore a card that just says 'fuck you' on it in sharpie. For more fun: imitate the vibes of the local utility bill in a letter but fit a lot more fuck yous inside

[–] bitjunkie@lemmy.world 11 points 6 hours ago

Well that's a lol and a half

[–] Amuro_eat@lemmy.blahaj.zone 13 points 8 hours ago (1 children)

They’re coming for you, Langley

[–] tankfox@bookwyr.me 9 points 7 hours ago (1 children)

But much better to identify the people who work for him, the vulnerable ones who aren't rich and thrive in the shadows of these monsters.

[–] Whostosay@sh.itjust.works 5 points 4 hours ago

Por que no los dos
