Does "ct." mean something? If not, those cookies are absurdly priced for just 3.6 grams.
Probably “count”. As in each. So 18 count, or 18 cookies specifically.
I think it means "count" like "18 ct" means "18 count" means there are 18 cookies in the package
ct is Count, most likely. It's possible it's a mistake; it's also possible that they're hoping people who don't have the card will see $3.99 and miss the 'price with card' note, and not check the price when they check out.
Has it gotten that bad in America that you'd be able to put an extra $100 on groceries without most people noticing? $10 though, sure.
A lot of folks use grocery delivery services, and the people fulfilling those orders are often unlikely to care enough to be diligent. If it's on your list, they'll get it.
If the price per lb is the non discount price, then at 18 cookies, each cookie would weigh 1.4 lbs. Those are some massive cookies.
Just don't look at the best buy date.
Also, that's shitload of money for 18 cookies. Unless they're lying, of course.
what are you talking about? that's cheap.
typical store price where I am for 12 cookies is like 6-8 bucks. 4-5 bucks might get you 2-3 cookies. a single cookie will run you at 2.50.
60 count cookie from is 24 bucks. 24 is 10.

One of my local grocery stores requires downloading their app. I have to manually generate and accept digital coupons in the app to get the advertised sale price on the shelf.
They have my account they've had for 20+ years tracking all my purchases for gas points. But now I need a phone app to personally and individually hand them my data they already have.
Man I love shopping at Giant. Must be the bloomsburg store. Damn college kids.
oh god... so i worked at one of these during hs/college. one black history month they had a section for 'black history month.' no bullshit, they had cotton balls, watermelon, fried chicken. i immediately mentioned it to a black co-worker.
his response, 'yo wtf. that's fucked up.... but that's a really good price for chicken'
the company eventually apologized.
