Not sure where covenant is from exactly but Thiel has a hard-on for LoTR company names.
We'll see it as a sign evil can only corrupt existing names, it can't create new names.
It should be a huge red flag to everyone that he seems to identify with the bad guys in stories. And yes, I include the aforementioned "imaginary friends."
