AI can help a handful of researchers, already advancing cancer treatments, be more productive on path to help enrich big pharma. You or I doing it, are just as likely to be told to inject some bleech and walk it off. But cancer research "token demand" is in the low billions per year, and AI revenue under $1m, never mind any profitability.

What politicians will pay to build and control skynet and subjugate everyone against their (and friendly Skynet) power/ambitions is in the high $Ts.

AI as 3rd superpower (Paul Tudor Jones) real meaning is bond villains as 3rd superpower

As a piece couched in US nazi empire axiomatic logic, the prescriptions are absurd idiocy:  Trump/Xi negotiations, and regulations on what AI services are sold to the public.  No limits/guardrails on Skynet/government use of AI, and bond villains internal use of models is ungovernable.  Just as nuclear proliferation policy, no one but nazi allegiants should have any power, and all lies to achieve power maximization are justified.  US regime establishment survival requires skynet/AI control over any opposition to their totalitarianist permanence.

Bond villains are a 3rd superpower threat because they can make $Trillions building skynet/government oppression systems, and as in the movie Ex Machina, pursue power over commercial success ambitions.  Just as Epstein Mossad honeypot operations, directly targeting political loyalties, the bond villains would control all government actors through kompromat obtained by spying.  Anthropic recently SWATed an activist without providing any evidence of unpatriotic disloyalty.  Just as there is some confusion/debate over which of US and Israel is the subservient partner, the same will apply to the US - bond villain relationship.

US nazi empire with colonies and corrupt nationalism are quick in their hysterics of the dangers of Chinese technology spying or kill switches, but dead silent on caution regarding US championed bond villain technology, or Israeli pagers.  In fact, the hysterics are propaganda to force submission to US championed bond villain technology purchases as the only viable choice.  Technology regulation is possible and a valid safeguard.  It cannot be based on ideology of good nazi champion sources vs evil nazi resistant sources.

This last section has closed the loop on the humanist abandonment of nationalist rivalry disinformation.  Humanity in all nations prosperity is improved through trade and productivity boosts.  Freedom dividends sharing prosperity/productivity enhancements accelerates prosperity and abundance, by widespread affordability of useful/desriable abundance.  Whoever provides the best value to you is who you would want to provide that value.  This is the only escape path to skynet oppression and extermination.  AI/productivity policy promoting abundance is good for you.  AI policy certain to oppress you, with extermination as the fallback, is bad for you.

neither of those are helpful. apparently that one article stating the diagnosis for cancer wasnt that useful, it required radiologists/oncologist to re-review it again and again, plus they had to use quite a large number of scans too, and the possibility of hallucinating is there too. they already are using AI in DENTAL spaces, where they "detect' defects in a tooth and the patients accused the dentist of the tooth damage not being present when they went with 2nd, 3rd opinion.

They don’t actually care about curing cancer, they just use it to justify their existence. If they did cure cancer they’d hide it or figure out how to monetize the fuck out of it.

I'm not a huge conspiracy guy, but I'm sorry, there is absolutely zero fucking chance there's no cure for cancer and a dozen other things. They developed vaccinations, antibiotics, ect before the first half of the 19th century. They did this on a bunson burners and petry dishes. These pieces of shit take in BILLIONS in donations a year and have access do gene resequencers, supercomputers, and modeling programs BUT still can't make a dent over the last 60 years. Absolute bullshit.

"AI" cannot and shall not cure cancer. There isn't even such a thing as "cancer". That's just a name we give to a whole family of illnesses that share similar traits. They all have very different causes, different profiles, different risks and different ways of treating them.

For a lot of them, they are hard to treat once they get beyond a certain point. That's why a lot of modern research is focused on early diagnosis and prevention. Especially with mRNA vaccines proving to be highly effective at taking away certain risk factors that cause some types of cancer. There's also no such thing as curing cancer. Cancer can be treated, it can be removed, but it can never be cured. It isn't like other diseases where it can be fully cured. Even if the cancer itself has been fully removed, the risk factors that lead to the cancer still exist. So we say people are in remission and have a certain likelihood of getting the same cancer again in the future. Again, this is why there is so much focus on preventing the disease in the first place. And the truth is, some risk factors are very hard to take away. So most likely some forms of cancer will always be present. This is especially true for the majority of the world who don't have a lot of money. People living in places with bad pollution and poor air quality are at risk and usually can't really do anything about that. There is no curing that, that's a fact of life.

So like most of the things these AI psychopaths are talking about applies to their very small group of insanely rich people, who rule the world in their future vision, because the robots rule the world and they rule over the robots. They want the AI to fix cancer for them and fix aging, so they can hoard their power and money forever. It's also funny how they say the AI will fix global warming and cure cancer. Well we could start by stopping to build and power all these datacenters. Stop them from running their gas burning generators, that pollute the air. It would be funny if it weren't so very sad.

This isn't to say machine learning algorithms can't contribute to cancer research, they for sure can. But LLMs not so much and just calling the whole thing AI and treating it like it's some kind of god being that can magically fix all of our problems is insane. The fucking thing is trained on reddit and 4chan for fucks sake, how is anything good ever going to come from that?
