Most Baltic statement
What a sheltered westerner thing to say about the soviet occupation and mass deportations.
It was horrible! Hordes of communists tearing through the country, leaving hospitals and schools whereever they went!

Sure buddy, the massive amount of infrastructure constructed by the Soviets existed before they were there and aliens built the pyramids

Incredibly racist of you to reduce the Soviet Union to "Russians". Incredibly stupid of you to read "they built a bunch of infrastructure" to mean "there was absolutely nothing there before."
Honestly that's so stupid I have to assume you're just someone acting obtuse, so I won't waste more time in you.
LOL Baltics forever salty that those nazi scum got their deserved punishment.
so jealous of the west where the US/UK whitewashed them.

Tell me, do you also cheer for Israel?
Since it should be obvious from my comment but you're not good at comprehensive reading: no I don't like fascists.
Bless the Soviets for getting rid of a lot of them.
I feast on your tears.

In case you missed WW2 history, the Soviets fought and beat the fascists.
Or you wouldn't be crying about it so hard.

I am sorry but the US was not exactly against the Nazis. They appointed a bunch of Nazi war criminals in positions in NATO.
Who exactly is "our people" you're talking about.
And I bet I can show you how they were mostly aligned with nazi Germany.
Again, no sympathy for them. FAFO
Yuo can keep repeating yourself all you want.
two empires clashed and the one that won was barely better than the one that lost.
LOL who's simplistic here?
They didn't 'clash'.
One evil empire had only one aim, to destroy the Soviets and communism.
The other one beat them and their scummy collaborators at great cost and saved Europe, except for the part the opportunistic US vultures snatched for themselves.
Wait, is being a westerner bad or something?
Nooo, facing those questions would be forcing myself to try to start understanding the contradictions of what I’ve been taught my whole life, that my privilege comes directly from exploitation of the global south, and that pretty much every aspect of my existence has been commodified from where I drive and walk to regularly, when I have sex, what kind of books I read and movies/tv/Youtube videos I watch to what I wear, eat, drink, say, feel, think, love, hate, and everything inbetween…
How could being a westerner really be that bad? My life is great! 😁

who supports any imperialism?

The post is quite literally about a victims of communism memorial that had to be taken down because it was mostly Nazis. Do you read posts before you comment?
[removed by mod]
Doesn't really change the fact that you are commenting on a post where it is explicitly about a "victims of communism" memorial and it turns out the best they could do was a bunch of Nazis which sort of flies in the face of your whitewashing attempt in your comment don't you think?
Also victims of communism is a ridiculous framing but that's more of a tangent.

The people who think “victims of communism” means nazis.
What an odd way to say "most of the people who actually lived in the Soviet Union agree it was better."
