I don't like that they asked an LLM to graphic design the entire menu, but why in the name of robot jesus did they look at the result and say "great. Love it. Print 100 copies."
The food pictures made me physically ill. They're really upsetting! I told the Waitress, who agreed that the pics were awful, and the manager/owner(?) who didn't seem to care.
There are LLM inconsistencies all over, too, like icons changing from page to page.

They probably thought taking photos of their dishes would have been complicated or expensive. Funny thing, if they were going for this overall aesthetic, then taking the photos with a cellphone (no matter how crap and outdated) and slapping Instagram filters (or equivalents) on them would have worked beautifully. Anything is better than this.

Is there not a law that your restaurant menu images must actually represent the food you get to some degree?
I glanced at it and though it was bad. Then I zoomed in and it’s so much worse!

That’s a blast from the past. Back when image generation was a quirky little experiment, and people still had hope that this technology wasn’t going to wear our souls down into a fine dust.
They probably still think its a good deal saving a couple hundred on a photographer or stock images, and will never consider they are probably losing 1000's to less repeat customers.
So don't fucking eat there.

Redditor illness aside, who thought that looks good, or even consumable? Usually the shit just looks weird but you have to look closely, ans it's not that big. This is front and center and looks like a gross close-up from a ren and stimpy bit
Feels like a truth in advertising moment, but with what enforcement? As others have said, voting with your dollars is the best leverage you have.

I would prefer they use clip art from an older version of the Office suite.
