Why would anyone believe anything the federal government and its cronies, like the postmaster general, are saying?
There’s already been reporting by whistleblowers of the postal service saying one thing and doing another so there’s zero reason to believe anything they says.
Vote this November like our lives depend on it, and don’t trust the postal service to get it right. No matter where you cast your ballot make sure you follow up and ensure your vote is counted.

Everyone needs to treat mail in voting as a lost cause and vote in person, and help those who can't by delivering their ballots to the polling place. If possible, recruit enough individuals to each take a single extra ballot so you don't risk being stopped for ballot stuffing.
Trying to vote early and in person seems like the safest bet.
If you wait until election day, it's easier for them to try to delay/interfere you away from your vote.
