yeah, i figure most westerners didn't learn about what we did to both China and Japan from 1800 - 1930 (approximately). i learned it in elementary school, but i think "leadership" seriously dumbed things down since 1982.
I feel like Mass Effect already popularized the actual term, Virtual Intelligence, and I'm annoyed that the millennial writers in charge of these things are too lazy to push for it.
I think the English terms "virtual" and "artificial" both suffer from the implication that the thing being described is "not real", as opposed to "human-made" or "abiological" or "machine" intelligence. It is real intelligence -- not as generalized as human intelligence, but it can detect patterns, make predictions, and use tools to modify its environment, which is arguably what people mean by "intelligence".
Okay..first it is AI? Now its super Intelligence?!! Okay if i can find another planet i would gladly do so and rocket myself out of this planet and live in that other planet. No way in hell am I living in a built fantasy where bots run our country. im out smh 🤦♀️
