Does anyone even know about Svengoolie outside of Chicago?
He's on the MeTV station in Philly.
He got national syndication? Unreal.
Used to be just a local Chicago thing.
My first introduction, as a twenty-something Tasmanian, to Elvira was when the Amiga game came out in 1990. I also managed to find the movie in a video rental store. I never saw the tv show except in snippets. She's great!
Talk about someone that helped me in my um formative years.
I wonder how many people have gone up to her and told her without an ounce of shame they discovered themselves to her.
Carrie Fisher had to deal with that, and iirc she wasnt thrilled.

That seems wild, since her face is clearly visible.
