The White House budget office says mass firings of federal workers have started in an attempt to exert more pressure on Democratic lawmakers as the government shutdown continues.

Feds had just gotten back up to the level 30+ years ago before Bill's cuts to the federal workforce.

Schumer is likely happy it's getting cut back down to Clinton era levels, if he acts upset that's all it is, an act
