Nasty scum
Looks like the lettuce won.
Scientists now have defined the microMooch, or uMch. She lasted 5 uMch.
Welp, I lost this bet. I was for sure she just wouldnt do many of any press hits for a day or two and then maybe a press briefing once a month. I think Hannity or the Fox and Friends interviews did it
Can someone drop the text so we don't have to deal with the paywall or login wall or whatever? I want to know why she was ousted.
President Trump’s new press secretary, Katie Zacharia, was fired Friday, after less than a week on the job, according to three people familiar with the matter.
Neither the White House nor Ms. Zacharia responded to requests for comment.
Still needs me to log in. I got the gist, thank you
The comment about chinese squat toilets probably didn’t help.
Paywalled. Can someone post the text of the article?
Edit: nm, found it elsewhere https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026/oct/16/katie-zacharia-fired-press-secretary
I wonder what the insiders would say the reason was? A poor showing in fox news interviews?
There's no way they care about the not-really-a-lawyer thing, is there? Or about just being terrible at the job itself? I would have guessed those were assets.
I kind of suspect they had no idea she wasn't a lawyer. They're embarrassed they believed her BS. Combine that with her inability to perform the unhinged Girlboss routine conservatives love for some reason....they probably feel betrayed.
The job needs someone who can read without her lips moving.
Back to playing Russian Roulette with the press secretaries, huh?
I was least speculating how long she would last.
My money was on less than one scaramucci
