I was about to write a post about how this office is literally meaningless, as DC doesn't get any vote in Congress, and their Delegate only has the right to speak there.

But then I realized that makes it even more important to have a passionate, active person there, because they have no leverage other than the words they use.

It's ultimately up to DC voters to decide who to send. If they want to send her again, they should have the right to. But she should have to experience a real primary, and DC Democrats should be able to assess her against a younger candidate.
