But the "DNC version" calls for a two state solution, a cease fire, and release of hostages.

This is empty rhetoric designed to fool people. What about the thousand of Palestinian hostages (mostly women and children) held in Israeli torture prisons? Is the DNC asking for that?

There is no two state solution, it's a neo-liberal distraction. What we need is an end to the genocide that Democrats support funding, dismantling of the occupation that Democrats support, and an end to apartheid that Democrats pretend doesn't exist. Anything short of that is a distraction.

It's amazing how everyone woke up to Trump's attempts to distract from the Epstein case, but willing to swallow two state bullshit from the DNC.

They were trying to be funny, don't be too literal.

I think (that's how I interrupted it, I don't know) the intent was to reflect the insufferably arrogant tone of most people who exclusively complain about AI as if it has no benefits and will be the sole destroyer of our society.

But, there’s also a larger population of underprivileged, overburdened, and poverty stricken civilians trying to make ends meet by selling their very bodies to the elite so they can play their little war games.

The overalap isn't as small as you imply. If they aren't bendable into order following drones, they don't make it in. That's literally the entire point of Basic Combat Training.

The expression they used was to man they don't give a shit, they aren't actually threatening to kill Lindsey Graham by choking him with their dick and balls.

What they are saying: Lindsey made a career of oppressing gays, he doesn't deserve courtesies that gay people are afforded BECAUSE of his oppression. If people like Lindsey Graham didn't exist, gay people wouldn't need to hide their sexuality in the first place.

Yes, I'm a piece of shit for using a phone made by a capitalist corporation and contributes to harming the planet. I don't deny that I live in a horrible society that forces me to be a bad human just to survive.

I also don't call people stupid for telling me my device is bad for the environment. I still eat meat, I'm not a vegan, but I understand and completely agree that it's terrible for the environment. By recognizing it, I can be conscious of my consumption and reduce it.

I also use LLMs conservatively, I use them where they add value and I don't use them frivolously to generate shitty AI slop.

I'm conscious of its dangers and that drives my consumption of it.

But I don't pick and choose. I don't eat animal products three meals a day and bitch about someone using an LLM to edit a file instead of manually working on it for five hours.

Just be consistent is the message they were communicating, not that you shouldn't complain about 85%.

And that's a problem. He's a really great guy and all, but his biases are obvious and he maintains the neoliberal status quo. He also acts as a pressure relief valve to air our frustrations and make us feel sane in a completely bonkers world, but that's the opposite of fighting back.

We don't need celebrity presidents, we need a fucking revolution.

It's not, you're just personally insulted. The livestock industry is responsible for about 15% of human caused greenhouse gas emissions. That's not negligible.
