It’s true, but at some point they should have woken up and seen what they’ve been fighting for. Far too many just keep reaching for the sleeping pills.
I’ve crossed the rubicon, if you still support all this, you are an evil person, or at least a person who wishes evil on others. You cannot get complacent with evil, everyone needs to learn the paradox of tolerance asap.
Fuck these purity tests. Nobel is indeed a hollow and pointless prize, but let them throw any stone they like, especially when the target is such a fucking baby. We all know what a bullshit prize it is already so might as well just kick back and let them fight.
This is 100% him broadcasting his plans. This is how he operates, jokes were the start, he’s onto the ‘righteous’ joking phase. Next it will be serious proposals coming from think tanks, then he’ll actually do it unannounced. He’ll act like it’s the most normal thing ever and the media will write a bunch of “both sides have a valid point” articles ans our democracy officially dies.
How has the world not figured out how this fucker operates. This is a clear and definite signal that he will At least try. He’ll get away with it because this is how he operates, he jokes to test the water, next up he’ll start making them a little more forceful, but then it will become how they need to cancel the elections, eventually he’ll pull the trigger and blame something else in an overnight shock.

I’ve met Walz a few times, I think he’s a pretty decent person. So of course he has no home in politics. Only evil, unscrupulous people survive in politics these days.
Our government is illegitimate, it desperately needs to just collapse.
I mean, that was the entire premise of the show, a good person who breaks bad. You are supposed to like him, and supposed to have complicated feelings about his character arc as he devolves deeper and deeper into the dark side. Of course there will be moments during the arc when you still root for him as the badass but that should all be gone by the end, when he’s just a bad guy who got a deserved end.

I daily drive LMDE with a 4070ti super, works perfect. I do use the proprietary drivers but I hardly ever have issues.

Thats what LMDE is for, Linux Mint Debian Edition. Been my daily driver for years. Otherwise I use vanilla Debian for all my server and headless stuff.
My mom is in the early stages and is DEPERATE to prove that she’s still functional. She’s also going through chemo for cancer which has fried her brain even worse. I can’t be mad at her, but I keep trying to take her technology and simplify what she insists on keeping but she can’t even handle an appletv anymore.
