Not gonna lie, part of me wants to relive the SoundBlaster and DOS extenders era and watch stuff with QuickTime. Tinkering with config.sys and autoexec.bat was quite fun back then.

And to say that there used to be a time when "Linux gaming" was an oxymoron as it at most meant SuperTuxKart or mindlessly watching glxgears.

Not saying they aren't good. Optane and Xeon Phi were actually good. What I'm saying is that knowing Intel's history, there's a very high chance they'll also abandon their GPU division just like they did with Optane and Xeon Phi.
