The truck owners I know, myself included, use them all the time for towing and like the added utility having the bed as as secondary feature.

Do you run a business? Do you need an IdP and role based access? Do you need to back up emails and documents from your employees? Do you need IT insurance to cover your ass or have compliance needs?

Skype was always shit. It was being first to market that made it popular. It was one of the first ways to get cheaper and free informational calling. By the time MS purchased it vent and ts became popular as well as zoom and others entering the space.
