Advertising is the graffiti of the rich. The poor get fined for tagging a wall, while corporations are paid to deface our entire visual landscape. It's the same act of vandalism, just with a budget that buys legitimacy.

Communism is when the government does something, authoritarianism is when that government legally enforce their actions.

But when the American government forces labour from people to build infrastructure that is neither communism nor authoritarian, because I’m a reactionary idiot and my world view is incoherent other than us-foreign-policy

Have them kneeling below the height of the embankment they’re building, which is in the middle of the road, which is at road level, and also the ditch they’re kneeling, which is below the embankment but still within the confines of the road, which in is also road level. Escher tier grading.
