I know what primaries are.

How does that change the fact that PACs put advertisements out there to get in front of ALLpeople's faces to get them out to vote (in primaries and the general) to change people's minds to attract them to democratic candidates at all?

If you don't start building that momentum before the primaries, it can be near impossible to have it when the general comes along.

Look at Kamala Failedus. Didn't even win a fucking primary.

So Sanders wants Republicans to win?

If we can get money out of politics it absolutely needs to be for both parties, Bernie. Fuck this you go low we go high bullshit.

I'd personally distinguish “support” from “indifference, ignorance, resignation, partisan loyalty, and prioritization of other issues.” That's actually central to your argument. If 30% approve of something, that doesn't mean 30% are committed ideological supporters willing to defend every aspect of it. Political polling is not a census of people's souls.

Links to the specific polls vaguely referenced would also be helpful.

Every fork is a derivative work, but not all derivatives are forks.

Phone runs Android. I used to work as an Applecare Advisor supporting iOS and OS X.

Heavily inspired by? I understand that Linux is not derived from Unix source code. But the system architecture... Is extremely similar and in many ways functionally the same.

In art, music, literature, architecture, and ideas, something can be derivative because it inherits a form, vocabulary, conventions, conceptual framework, or design tradition from something earlier.

“They didn't oppose X, therefore they accepted X, therefore they supported X.”

An argument from silence combined with false equivalence (or invalid inference) does get you -fallaciously! - from non-opposition to support.

"She didn't say no. I didn't rape her. She wanted it! She begged for it."

I do suppose Linux is a Unix derivative. So you're closest. But no cigar.

BeOS? Oh dear, no.

I could see running Haiku.

Just kidding, no way!

There's typically a keyboard shortcut to copy things sans formatting (plain text.)
