In truenas containers I'm running my entire *Arr stack, cloudflare, Paperless, Ollama, Immich, etc.
In Proxmox I'm running a few Linux VM's (mail gateway, Desktop VM's for work, etc). VMWare and Nutanix are disposable hypervisors I use for deployment testing for work stuff.
I stopped worrying about IT illiterates long ago... Same reason I don't want the masses flocking to Linux. They'll find a way to ruin it.
Oh it will, but what it will leave behind is the same mess of big megacorps who will retain the technology and use it for evil..

Not uncommon for people in mechanical fields to use rubber wedding bands in place of a conventional, they ahve a breakaway cut so if they get caught in a machine they just tear open...
