Their boost really was that much more powerful, plus they used it every round, even buying one of the most maligned and disrespectful weapons in the game, the auto sniper, which really rubbed people the wrong way. A position like that never should've made it into a professional tournament, and Valve's standards for such silliness in maps drastically changed in the following years. Now you can rarely have so much fun 😔
