I’m hosting a full Arr stack, Jellyfin, Navidrome, Calibre-Web, plus others. The only significant slowdowns I saw were when I ran a RAM-hungry Minecraft Java server as well.

I always see people saying the Pi is poor for Jellyfin, but I’m running it on a 5 4GB (alongside a fair few other Docker images) and haven’t encountered any really issues. I’m only streaming 1080p and never see any stuttering or bad transcoding.

That said, I do intend to go with a SFF PC in the future as I’ve pretty quickly hit the point where it’d be better, so OP I would skip the Pi as well.

Mac Mini's are cool, and I appreciate that Apple has some of the most experienced and talented designers in the world... But they put the power switch on the bottom. You have to lift it up and turn it over to turn it on and off.
