Anyone else thinking about the Dart scene in DS9 where O'Brian got Worf to throw a dart once?

Authoritarians like one another and support each other. It's nice that they have a supportive friendgroup.

I didn't read the article, fwiw. EVs should be taxed. US infrastucture is paid for by taxes on fuel at the pump, so all EVs do is destroy roads. Repeal the gas tax and tax the weight of the vehicle is a sane option. I am sure that isn't what the oil-backed GOP wants, though.

Two issues:

1. Most of history isn't written, and when it has been, it was the ruling class that wrote it.
2. Most of, if not all, the world has been under a ruler of some form for the vast majority of it's history

Don't start thinking that Capitalism started with The Wealth of Nations. Greed has always been there, and it has always been rewarded.

You need to put that knob and note into a shadow box and hang it up.

Personally, I think the GOP is run entirely by a small cabal that dictates everything. If you go far enough in that org, someone has something on you to make you dance.
