Cos there are enough dumb people who are ready to pay for this shit.
Same with lootboxes in gaming, everyone hates them but there are enough people purchasing them so that the companies can keep pulling shit like this off.

Well obviously enough people are buying burgers at those prices, otherwise restsurants wouldn't be able to charge those prices.
It's kinda like with lootboxes, feels like everyone hates them, but they must get purchased a lot, otherwise they wouldn't be so ubiquitous.
Kinda makes me wonder how many people are really affected by the cost of living crisis, or do people simply buy things no matter the pricetag and that NOT purchasing something is simply NOT something that crosses their minds?
Is that a US thing only? Cos I haven't seen this crap here in germany, fortunately.
Unfortunately that doesn't happen, because EU put tariffs on Chinese EVs. And then they are complaing why EV adaption doesn't happen as quickly as they would like, lol.
Nah, mods from every political view do ban users randomly.
I guess because of server costs and stuff like that. I am sure Lemmy currently can't handle the amount users Reddit has. And without ads there is no income stream of money to handle the costs.
Did u have any significant experience in Software Engineering from like, private projects? Cos otherwise that's like winning the lottery, to exaggerate a bit lol
Didn't Musk start his own party last year or so? I remember sth about a party called the 'American Party'.
Cos it's legal there
The US has 'best parts'? Really can't imagine anything good about them lol
Lemmy ain't much better when it comes to banning. Mods here like to arbitrarily ban people, too. Without any warning whatsoever. Freedom of speech doesn't exist here as well.
The sales of consumer GPUs make up a veeeery tiny percentage of nvidias revenue. Nvidia could stop selling consumer GPUs tomorrow and it wouldn't even make a noticeable dent in their revenues. And what other options do u really have? Any other company ain't much better.
