It's reality my friend (something 99% of users on this website seem to not be living in), if you could install literally anything on anything then you can wave goodbye to all the competition and just 1 king os that everyone flocks to and 1 king piece of hardware, would be an absolute disaster without competition and why would companies even attempt to compete in that world, you can't win customers over with good software (locked to your hardware) nor good hardware (locked to your software), most development would cease worldwide as most go bankrupt
