I fucking hate ai but ddg's ai summary is the one place I don't mind it. It doesn't open unless I click it, and I only click it when I don't actually give a shit about the correctness of something. It's great for throwaway factoids that you're curious about in the moment but won't remember or care about an hour later lol. Often saves me from wasting time going down a wikipedia rabbithole when I need to be doing something else

Just cause you only liked something when you were young doesn't mean it isn't good. Everyone talks about the perspective you gain as an adult, but people don't talk enough about the perspective you lose along the way.

Object permanence fail

It's pretty easy to explain why people prefer CLI over GUI programs. You have to learn a new interface for every single GUI program, whereas you learn one interface for every CLI program.

I mean, there's no inconvenience at all in holding the door for someone. I just don't wanna do it if it's gonna lead to social anxiety for me.

Yeah I'm gonna venture a guess and say the poster in the image is not a particularly nice person.

I'll never hold the door unless it's a public building, they're close enough that I wouldn't need to hold it for long, and they aren't a woman within 10 years of my age. My anxiety can't risk me being seen as a creep so I don't want someone to think I'm holding the door for them cause I'm attracted to them or anything like that.
