Ironically, someone carrying a pocket knife is way less weird to me than the idea of someone carrying a screwdriver.

Multi-tools/swiss army knifes are a thing. Just because something has a blade doesnt make it a weapon, but I get it.
get out of here with your moderate, nuanced viewpoint!
Someone has never taken a big ole bite out of a vidalia onion! Like eating a spicy apple.
That's it for me, goodnight internet.
Path of Exile 2 started working in wayland native (proton_enable_wayland) and it performs much better than through kwin or whatever is used by default.
Fair enough.
Most of it is ice.
I'm sorry, I thought you were joking. I wasn't making fun of him at all, merely adding some support to what protist was saying - there's a difference between saying someone is narcissistic (exhibiting narcissitic personality traits) and saying someone has NPD, or "grandiose narcissism". I think a small amount of narcissism is probably necessary for maintaining things like self-esteem. Greek mythology is full of some really messed up stories, I think we can both agree on that at least.
Ovid! That's the name I couldn't remember. I looked it up and 'Echo and Narcissus' is definitely the version I remember reading in school.
Why use 1 hammer with 50 hammers will do the job even better!
I would say a hunting/bowie knife is a very specific type of tool. I suppose it matters greatly where you live in the world as to what would be normal to carry as a tool. That might not set off any flags in West Virginia but if someone was walking around a big city with a bowie knife or something I would be more concerned.
