28th country* Sovereignty is not threatened (despite how hysterical some may get). Where EU regulation is enforced, they address equity and privacy issues which are frankly going to be an improvement

They pretty much already exhausted the effectiveness of it to stop trade, and now that most Canadians are doing the patriotic thing of moving away from purchasing any American items, the tariff becomes meaningless when our consumers has no need for iport in the first place

Personally would've preferred to grant easy PR route rather than citizenship directly. Nevertheless good to see it's a desirable thing for people, increased mobility would be good for labour too when they decide to come back home. Funds will have to come from somewhere, government can offer expedite service with high fee, or high termed deposit to increase funds to support more workers in this line of service.

I'd anticipate in the future with the arctic conflict Russia will be a problem, but yes the more imminent is just the US
