You could, but you'd have to know that some people do this, and it is confusing to maintainers if empty issues keep popping up.

Bug reports are contributions from people who try to help your project. I don't go to Github issues to complain - i can do that on socials. I do it as a service for the devs, to make them aware of an issue they may not yet be aware of.

Treating issue reporters like this is just disrespectful of the work they are trying to contribute.

Note that this message only appears AFTER someone has already gone through the work of writing an error report. At that point, just throwing their work into the toilet SUCKS.

You can also just make your own "No AI" badge, or use, like, words to combey that idea, instwad of paying some grifter an ongoing license fee for a PNG.

They might just have the flag in there to indicate their account is in German language

Headshape is not a reliable indicator of venomousness. This species is harmless to humans, i think it's one of the Gonyosoma ratsnakes.

The window seat is the singer from Limp Bizkit, who I am told is actually a pretty pleasant person IRL

The article cited by The Register cites this more detailed analysis in turn: https://blog.katanaquant.com/p/your-llm-doesnt-write-correct-code

Performance of the AI-generated version was 20,000 times slower on one specific benchmark, but "only" about 2,000 times slower when averaging over multiple different benchmarks (which is, imo, a better measurement of the code's quality).

So I suppose The Register pulled from multiple sources (as you should) and just linked to the most top-level of all of them.

It goes into the pockets of the people who cashed into the bubble early, and cash out before it bursts. Just like it was with crypto.
