It's kind of weird how the CHP has become a hammer for things distinctly not about the highway. Got crime in Oakland? Send in the CHP with video cameras. Got homelessness? Send in the CHP to do a sweep. Need security? Send in the CHP. That being said this is the least offensive unorthodox use Newsome has used the CHP for.

Voting in our system is like choosing the boss for the final boss fight. So yeah, if you're in a place where your vote could make a difference, vote Dem, but never stop raising hell.
I tell them to not expect worsening conditions to teach liberals the right lesson and they should vote as if they're choosing a boss fight. In that context fascist-light is the correct choice.
