There is a world wherein the surplus value from automation is used to enrich everyone and we move from a labor-based society to a human-based one, but too many people are capitalism-brained to the point that they're fully incapable of even imagining what it might look like to live in a world where we're not forced to labor for 70+ years then die
If a driver hits someone without realizing it and drives off to continue their day, that's still legally fleeing the scene
