Pierre and Scheer has a lot to say about freedom of speech but get real quiet when Canadians get threatened.

So involved in right wing American politics, it's sad.

Since it become a bit of a thing to post National Post stories here these days.

The National Post systematically rewrites wire stories to include loaded anti-Palestinian language, omit the context of occupation, and frame stories around Israeli viewpoints, a comprehensive data analysis shows.

The groups Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East (CJPME) and The Media Bias Project of Tech for Palestine (T4P) analyzed 197 Canadian Press (CP) news stories about Palestine and compared them to the version published by the National Post. The data gathered drew from articles published between October 9, 2023, to September 18, 2024.

There has been no sources that has released details of the motive of the person that shot Charlie Kirk. However Pierre and Scheer seems to know exactly why it happened.

Pierre and Scheer had nothing to say about other school shooting that involved kids.

Seems like they're setting up for the same rhetoric as last time.

For the 'Carney is basically just Poilievre' Crowd, a look at Poilievre's proposed legislation (note: this from about a month ago)

I've seen this take that Carney is just as bad as Poilievre more than a few times. And while Carney may not be as Green as some had hoped for but my goodness, the difference between him and Poilievre is staggering.

Figured it's worth posting the legislation that Poilievre put forward in August which includes removing pipeline regulations, scrapping the West Coast oil-tanker ban; killing the industrial carbon tax; eliminating the electric vehicle mandate and reversing the single-use plastics ban.

How fucking delicate do you have to be to be triggered by a bit of paint in the road. It's fucking pathetic.

Professor of Labour Studies at Brock University, Larry Savage, shared his reflections on the ratification vote results to the social media platform X (Formerly Twitter). Savage said flight attendants had heightened expectations for this deal. While the tentative agreement did include wage increases, they were not at the same level as the wage increases won for flight attendants at Air Transat or pilots at Air Canada.

“The union oversold the tentative agreement by declaring the end of unpaid work,” Savage wrote in a post on X. “That framing seems to have rubbed some members the wrong way.”
