Might be a different translation
While this quote can be found all over the internet, attributed to Nietzsche, I'm unable to find even a single source reference, no mention anywhere of from where it originates. Do you know for certain that it's from Nietzsche? I'm starting to get the feeling that it has been misattributed to him.
I think it might be a different translation. Should be Human, all too human: Book 6, Aphorism 303.
I found another translation from R.J. Hollingdale.
Edit: I found it! It's Kaufmann's Portable Nietzsche Page 58 Aphorism 303.
Additional edit: It's not word for word.
