Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
- Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

Don't be too bummed. All this crazy shit needs complex supply chains to even exist, which the regime seems intent on destroying. Soon, the data centers won't run and we can fight over the sheet metal to build huts within the ruins.
What do you think happens to the security services when government fails, when the checks bounce or are not written?
They extort, they steal, they run rackets. They have the heavy weaponry.

The military will of course be king, Security Service is like Lords and Regional players, yay Neo feudalism with dystopian technology that previous tyrants could not dream of. We are so fucked unless we organize, yet we still fight under the Democrats which is just doomed to fail so fucking obviously at this point.
This kind of feels like you waxing poetic about your apocalyptic fantasy, not really an insightful reply to my comment. I know of no less than FOUR people with 50 cal sniper rifles at my work place alone. None of them are "security" or military. Its not so cut and dry, and believe it or not, people actually like civilization. Things would be very different actually standing in the ruins of your town or city and having to rebuild. There'd be a lot less snooty mcshoot face and a lot more mutual aid. Thats just what people tend to do when faced with extreme hardship. Thats why society is an emergent property of the human condition, because we don't favor tearing each other to shreds, we actually favor helping each other.

And do you think that changes the situation domestically? They are fixing elections, the opposition is weak about sold out, and in League with the super rich. I really do not know how I can continue without personally insulting you here.
