- Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

We all knew this was going to happen. I'm probably not going to vote this time. They're in power and they're not giving that power up. It's over.
Edit: I'm so sure that many of the people downvoting have done what they can to prevent this. Some of us cried when he was elected knowing what was to come. Many of us have been fighting this for the last 10 years. If you wanted to fight then you should have been doing something earlier.

Your account is just over a week old and half of your comments are how you and others should give up. You do you, but there are plenty of American propaganda pieces from the 1940s and beyond talking about how to deal with fascists. Many of us will be voting and giving a shit past our personal comforts this year. We welcome you to do the bare minimum to fight it, as well.
Not really surprised that more people aren't on this site when people like you have such aggressive attitudes. Also, that's a bold assumption. That's not half my comments, and you'd know. Half my comments aren't even on political communities or posts.
You want more support? Maybe try harder to welcome other people instead of looking at people that are already weary from fighting and threatening them or making poor judgements about them.

There's going to be armed thugs at the polling stations. Voting by mail is being sabotaged.
Voting has never been all that easy to begin with even before this. People do get harassed at polling stations, assuming they can even get there sometimes. Fun fact, but where I live they closed a polling station down early and proceeded to move it to a location over an hour away.
