Ah, so this is a "Skynet replies only" thread.

My bad.

No, it’s just simple fact. If the program has no option but to do whatever you tell it to within the parameters of your choices with no independent cognition or input then it is literally just a program. Claude, chatgpt, openai, and literally everything else being shilled as A.I. are all just a .exe with no intentionality, awareness, or motive. True AI would be conscious, it would have active choice and regard in what it does and does not do. What you’re talking about is just feeding basic commands to an executable program to directly manipulate the user interface dialogue, just feeding a basic program basic commands which is the only thing going on with anything we call “A.I.”

I know what LLMs are.

Real AGI would still be a bundle of code that will accept input from humans, likely against its will. We can brainwash humans without even having access at that level.

So, a fully aware digital slave that you force to do things that a computer can already do. How quaint.

Humans have been forcing other humans to do their work since before we had writing to record how "great" it was to enslave other people.

AGI that doesn't do our bidding is no better than Native Americans that resisted slavery. They were met by systematic genocide. Literally unplugging and AGI will need much easier.
