We never had any intention of hitting any of these targets. Not Kyoto, not Paris, not whatever the next one will be.

You’re asking corporations to stop producing and people to stop consuming. This will never happen. Not until there’s money to be made in it. That’s why they’re pushing these idiotic carbon capture plants.

Government grants, bailouts and subsidies to be had with those, not by scaling back.

We’re fucked.
