Even if YouTube tore down the algorithm tomorrow, and went back to randomized classification recommendations (like the good old days)… I think it wouldn’t work. As spambots would rule, and your video would still get drowned out.

I’m honestly not sure what they could do, other than demonetize it entirely, which is not going to happen.

Not sure what your long form video was about, but if it’s a specialized topic, it’s probably more rewarding to find where the community hangs out and bring it up there.

That's not as easy as it sounds. You can find a lot of niche communties here and on reddit. But usually these places don't like self-promotion and small creators. They react allergic to that stuff. It is a common problem among small creators
