Trade away one of those hours for another drink, include one cup of water "for your health," and swap the emotional spiral for a logical breakdown of things I should have already accomplished.

This is an emotional spiral, just phrased to hide it from yourself. If you call it logic, it can be “objective,” to hurt you more.
