Cars are like horses: people will soon realise EVs are just better, claims VW boss

This is a most excellent place for technology news and articles.
There's a mall near where I live that has a fast charger and about 6 L2 chargers. The L2 chargers are also cheaper per kWh -you're paying for convenience with the fast charger, not electricity. But if you're going to the mall for an hour or three and your battery is low, why not get a charge that is still cheaper than gas (where I live, at least)? And if the charging app supports it, you can track when your charge is complete and move your car to save money and free the charger up for someone else. I don't know ow why more malls near me don't have many or any chargers.
There's also a theater with an L2 charger a couple blocks away. It's a good excuse to walk a bit and have more charge after the movie is over.
But charging at home really is a game changer, even with an L1 charger. Adding about 50 km or range in 10 hours for a pittance is hard to beat. And one of the best perks of where I work is they let me charge at work. It doesn't take much more charge than a block heater and doesn't cost them more than $100 per year, but having that extra range when I leave work every day is so nice.
