It it me or does AI reliance/psychosis disproportionately affect men? And by disproportionately I mean virtually every single one.
There are studies that do prove men tend to fall into the trap of relying on LLM tools more than women. It's a massive stretch to say that virtually every single one does, I smell a whiff of misandry with that statement.
As a man, I do not fuck around with fancy autocomplete that is marketed as artificially intelligent, it is cursed for so many reasons. If I sacrifice my ability to think, reason, and create...Then I am nothing but a husk that lives for the sake of billionaires. That cannot be allowed to happen, ever.
Well, I am venting to a void, but it is preferable to laying yourself vulnerable to humans.
In my field I see a lot of AI reliance with men, and to a lesser extent with women. I don't know if the difference between the sexes is actual or observation bias.
It is actually backed by studies.
Part of it is that LLMbeciles are tuned to "speak" like an overconfident techbrodude. This is actually off-putting to a lot of women. That whole "I know everything and have no humility about it whatsoever" vibe that techbrodudes and degenerative AI both have drives off a lot.

I mean every single case that I've heard off. Not literally every single man in existence has AI psychosis lol.

The male loneliness epidemic is well documented. Obviously women can be lonely, obviously not all men are lonely, but there's a general trend among the population that makes men more susceptible to sycophancy.
Imagine a man that never gets complimented by anyone in his life, who maybe doesn't even have anyone in his life, and now he's suddenly being told that his ideas are amazing. What do you think that would do to him?
